Hexcel is currently seeking a Product Manager for our Casablanca, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Business Development – Responsible for setting product line strategies in terms of customer and business growth.
- Margin performance – Responsibility for setting pricing strategies and pricing of all new and existing programs in Casablanca.
- Lead the LTA process for the approval of all customer proposals working with Sales, ISC, Finance and other functions.
- Lead the bid processes to deliver targeted business opportunities.
- Plan & Forecasts & SIOPS – In conjunction with the sales and programme management departments, the product manager should continually evaluate customer forecasts and challenge where necessary.
- Competition – Is expected to conduct competitor research to include SWOT on performance and products, to ensure that Hexcel has is technically, and commercially competitive in the market.
- Product line – Ensure European manufacturing has the best fit product line to support markets in conjunction with the strategic need. Support NPI, and lead qualifications, processes where needed.
- Focal point within European Engineered core facilities for interaction with US marketing teams to align on global capacities, competitive positioning, and cross-site activities.
- Ensure that relevant publicity is available to support the product range with technical literature and promotional items available in support of the product range.
- Abide by Hexcel code of conduct at all times and actively support Hexcel safety and sustainability targets.
Qualifications:
- University Degree or five years’ industry experience.
- Must have prior product management or commercial experience. A background in sales or purchasing would be beneficial.
- Experience in dealing with external business relationships (either customers, or suppliers) in similar sector.
- Experience in dealing with need for setting priorities, working across functions, to drive an outcome and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Fluent English and French is essential.
- Results orientation with strong written and oral communication skills
- Exhibits leadership, dynamism and ability to be self-motivated.
- Commercially astute with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong Influencing skills
- Technical background or capability is a plus.
