The Product Manager will work cross-functionally to optimize the way we offer machines, effecting the way we engineer machines, and ultimately the way we build machines. This role prices, promotes, and assigns placement of our products specific to end markets. Manages from ideation to execution of market-based systems and solutions as it relates to equipment. It will also be the catalyst for new product development, new configurations, and option development.

Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Build and implement product strategies consistent with company vision.
  • Retrieve and analyze feedback from customers٫ stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements٫ features and end products. Includes VOC and Net Promoter Score.
  • Collaborate with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps.
  • Lead SIOP demand planning and actively participate in balancing meetings
  • Prepare and review product requirements documents
  • Organize product releases properly and align with engineering/operations on schedule
  • Trade show point person and NPE cell leader
  • Pricing/Customer Quotes
  • Provide commercial input for product launches & sunsets, growth, new product sizes, new markets, product life cycle, manufacturing/assembly plan, and global product line alignment
  • Product line development & health assessments with timely report out to OLT
  • Sales product training
  • Understanding and reporting of the competitive landscape including gaps, where they play, how they win, mfg/assembly footprint, annual sales
  • Financial tracking, margin analysis, forecast planning & pipeline management
  • Product updates, including new options configurations, sales app uploads, and marketing/brochure updates
  • Monthly reporting regarding market conditions, competitive behavior, market share, sales and margin results.
  • Understand overall business strategy and support with execution

Skills/Experience

Required

  • 5+ years' experience of working in Product Management or other relevant position.
  • Significant experience in product lifecycle management.
  • Strong organizational٫ leadership and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with creative approach

Preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong written and verbal communicator
  • Customer and marketing acumen
  • Financial acumen

Education

  • BA or BS in engineering, marketing, or business-related field.

Travel

  • 25-30% travel
