Product Manager Process Automation (x|f|m) - Hybrid

We are looking for a Product Manager Process Automation (x|f|m) for our Bioprocessing division within Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, you will be accountable for the business value of part of our Process Automation product portfolio. You own decisions for all products – from cradle to grave. Your success will be driven by cross-functional alignment along a broad range of bioprocess applications.
The product management team consists of five professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for full-time and at any of our European locations. It is a hybrid role requiring some days at our sites & at our headquarters in Göttingen, Germany with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• Derive, communicate & execute product vision to drive the development and growth of Sartorius’ automation portfolio in alignment with corporate goals and priorities

• Act as the owner of the portfolio, influencing decision-making for all product related topics and be the strongest advocate of the portfolio, both internally and externally

• Build & leverage market intelligence for the portfolio focusing on software/hardware/consumable solution offering

• Identify new business models & drive their execution in alignment with corporate goals and fostering growth

• For new products, create marketing strategies under consideration of regional and application requirements and ensuring commercial competitiveness

• Own timing & execution of software life cycle management activities based on business plans

• Work with customers, field-based stakeholders and internally across departments to define and refine requirements for new products and product generations

 What will convince us

• University degree in automation technology, engineering management, biotechnology, or related field and proven years of industry experience; MBA or additional post-graduation business-focused degree preferred

• Knowledge & experience in the field of Process Automation

• Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to drive success and results

• Several years of working experience in product management, marketing or relevant field

• Strong verbal and written negotiation- and communication skills, ability to present with high impact to senior and top management

• Highly organized & results orientated personality with excellent networking abilities

• Excellent proficiency in English both in writing and oral, German is a plus

• Willing to travel (approx. 40-50%)
