Job Description

As a Regional Onboarding & KYC Product Manager at Wise, you’ll drive the development and implementation of seamless KYC solutions for the APAC region. You will work cross-functionally with compliance, engineering, and regional teams to optimize onboarding and verification processes while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements. Your role will focus on delivering a frictionless customer experience while balancing security, efficiency, and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of KYC roadmap for the APAC region.
  • Collaborate with compliance stakeholders to ensure Wise stays compliant and up to speed with evolving KYC requirements.
  • Drive the integration of local identity verification solutions
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to improve user journeys and reduce friction.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and mitigate fincrime risks.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in FinTech or KYC.
  • Highly analytical (you can self-serve with data)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver product solutions across multiple markets.
  • Ideally: Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations in APAC.
