Job Description
- Development of renewable gas procurement strategies
- Ownership of all supplier facing procurement activities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely order placement
- Ensure quality aspects of manufacturing including receipt of appropriate quality documentation
- Site coordination for resolution of any NCR's related to supply
- Resolving procurement claims
- Seeking opportunities to increase profitability, schedule improvement
- Drive effectiveness and efficiency of operational procurement functions
- Ensure fair treatment of suppliers to build long term supplier relationships
- Participate in the development of related procedures & process improvements within the overall function
- Cross-functionally communication regarding project procurement activities
- Ensure effectiveness and efficiency through adherence to company processes with a strong awareness of compliance issues
- Support the department in achieving its objectives
- Awareness of, implementation of and compliance with HSE requirements relevant to the role
Qualifications
- Graduate or FH / TH degree
- Procurement experience in international & technical EPC environment
- Experience in negotiation and supplier contracts
- Good interpersonal skills and reputation for integrity
- Takes ownership to ensure best results
- Self-motivated and able to coordinate across functions and locations
- Able to train lower levels in specific procurement skills and to communicate at all levels
- Promotes internal and external collaboration based on company values
- Experienced in using standard methodologies to identify complex problems and ensure implementation of appropriate holistic solutions
- Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS-Office (Excel incl. Pivot, Powerpoint)
- Professional English and fluent in German
