As a Data Quality Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll have a meaningful role in improving data accuracy and reliability for informed decision-making.

A day in the Life:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of master data and transactional data using Procurement spend tools.
  • Uncover concerns surrounding data precision, disparities, and inconsistencies through the process of data profiling and validation.
  • Complete data cleansing tasks to address data quality problems, including duplication and standardization.
Keys to Success:
  • Collaborate with data owners and collaborators.
  • Communicate and present recommendations to category leadership.
  • Evaluate details for re-categorization of spend data.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in data analitics related to procurement, supplier quality, data management, or similar roles.
  • Familiarity with data analytics software such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with sophisticated data analytics tools such as SQL, AI, Python, and R.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • High proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of analytical skills with solid attention to detail.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This position mainly entails working in an office setting with standard physical demands. Occasional travel might be necessary to meet with collaborators.
