Position Summary

Working in a high volume, multi-tasked, goal oriented, team environment, this position is responsible for handling US Assure’s internal, external and electronic mail, providing processing information and handling basic business processing and compliance functions, while providing quality service and elite customer satisfaction. This position is also partially responsible for answering and routing incoming calls on a multi-line phone while greeting and directing visitors/guests to their applicable party.

What will your job entail?

While maintaining productivity and quality standards, provide support services and related follow-up to all service-related departments within the organization to include, but not limited to the following:

• Indexing incoming work items in OnBase for various departments including the Large Commercial Underwriters

• Handling internal/external/electronic mail functions to include prepping, scanning and processing various mail tasks daily

• Cover the shipping/mail area when needed

• Processing compliance related tasks

• Cover Reception area as needed which includes:

• Answer and route incoming calls within established time frame when covering that role

• Serve as first point of contact when greeting visitors/guests

• Supply security badges to visitors and existing employees, when applicable

• Maintain neat and orderly appearance in lobby

•Handle administrative requests from Executive office and provide support to Operations and all other departments, as needed

•Utilize company systems and guidelines to process all transactions while maintaining production and quality standards, to include but not limited to, processing and mail related functions and posting

notices

•Handle processing requests based on learned skill sets and troubleshoot processing related problems

•Work in partnership with stakeholders and US Assure’s corporate vision and mission

•Ensure all problems, processing and inquiries are handled efficiently within established time frames

•Participate in knowledge transfer within team

Skills Required

•Basic knowledge of all mailroom machinery (i.e. letter-opener, postal machines, scanning equipment)

•Basic knowledge of accepted business software to include mainframe systems and Internet

•Solid understanding of customer service principles

•Basic knowledge of multi-line phone system

•Ability to accurately type 35 WPMs

The target hourly rate range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 per hour.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
