We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Advanced Packaging Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PVD product development, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive data-driven design improvements in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams. This role requires interfacing with key customers, presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, and managing a team of engineers to deliver innovative solutions in advanced packaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of process and development engineers in PVD technology for advanced packaging.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Technical Expertise & Development:
    • Drive PVD product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry trends.
    • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement data-driven design improvements for enhanced process performance and reliability.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Serve as a primary technical interface with key customers, providing expert guidance and support.
    • Build strong relationships to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Communication & Presentation:
    • Present technical data and complex concepts clearly and effectively to audiences ranging from working-level engineers to senior executives (VP level and above).
    • Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Travel:
    • Ability to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, technical reviews, and global collaboration.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10+ years of experience in PVD process development, with a strong focus on advanced packaging applications.
    • Proven track record in product development and process optimization.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
