Are you currently enrolled in nursing school, or are you in the process of completing prerequisites to pursue a nursing career? Join our team as a PRN Nurse Extern or Nursing Assistant! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment while enhancing your clinical skills.
PRN; Shift Varies
The Nurse Extern performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements:
Must be a junior or senior level student currently enrolled in an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN program, or higher.
Recommendation of instructors and verification of competencies required.
Current GPA 2.5 or higher.
Must have positive attitude, good organizational, customer service and critical thinking skills.
The Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Nursing License (CNA) preferred.
Six months experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
