ASML Brion is seeking highly talented individuals to join our innovative team to accelerate our leadership in delivering Computational Lithography-Driven Design and Manufacturing solutions to our customers.
Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler Arizona, San Jose and San Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.
Role and responsibilities
Product engineering team owns product lifecycle from design, development, qualification to deployment and continue improvements. Product engineer owns application technical spec requirements and functional design for new product, integrate solutions with best practice and automation to maximize their value in different customer environments, and 2nd line product support.
Analysis issue data to identify problems, conduct new product feasibility studies.
Perform acceptance tests of the new products. Collect proof book data working with customers, and determine best practices for the products.
Conduct key customer engagement project which need demonstrate the best performance of our product.
Support ASML Brion’s on-site customer support engineers and be responsible for new product introductions, including educating on-site engineers about ASML Brion’s new products.
Top level experts of OPC, also abundant knowledge in modeling, inspection and computational end-to-end flow optimization.
Lead path finding to break key technical barriers, enable product roadmap and critical to business win.
Lead high performance team to quickly deliver solutions to solve customer production issues in application level.
Oversee Tachyon product family in system level. Drive end-to-end performance enhancement continuously. Organize technical review meetings to coordinate cross department communication and collaboration.
Foresee industry trend and explore business opportunities, have vision of holistic solutions that integrate multiple products to deliver unique values to customer. Organize cross team efforts to realize new solutions.
Lead strategic product development, give directions and make decision on technical challenges, organize collaborations among multiple teams through full product lifecycle.
Education and experience
M.S, and above in electrical engineering, physics, chemical engineering, IC manufacturing or process technology related field
Have >15 years semiconductor computational Lithography application experiences. product requirement analysis, system design, function development and customer promotion.
Knowledge of Advanced DUV process and NXE/EXE scanners. Optical physics (especially Fourier optics, EM theory), resist chemistry or etch mechanism.
Experiences of OPC (Optical Proximity Correction)recipe tuning, OPC tape out flow, ILT (Inverse Lithography Technology), resolution and process window enhancement, Computational geometrics principles.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, scanners and metrology tools is a plus.
Skills
Strong customer focus and sense of business urgency. Be able to handle multiple tasks with proper prioritization.
Interact with customers to gain understanding of their technical requirements and effectively translate these requirements onto new product and system capabilities.
Ability to work independently and also effectively as a member of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a multi-cultural environment
Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills

This position is located on-site in San Jose, California It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. (Important to insert additional onsite language specific to the role: i.e., inspection, specific training and supervision, etc.)
A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days a week.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$223,125-334,688Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
