Principal Marketing Associate, Card Marketing - Hybrid
Capital One is seeking a talented Principal Marketing Associate to join the Card Partnerships Marketing team.
The Principal Marketing Associate will be responsible for managing the development and execution of marketing strategies for the Card Partnerships business. The successful candidate is customer-centric with an understanding of multi-channel best practices in developing, managing, and executing multiple customer communications across several customer segments.
How our hybrid model works
This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week) in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting . Monday and Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days . Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports B2C marketing efforts for strategic growth of our credit card partnerships while collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams including creative agency, operations, Legal and client/partner.
  • Leverages customer insights and partner needs when developing marketing initiative plans and recommendations.
  • Leads marketing creative strategy, development and execution for multiple marketing initiatives in both digital and print. Includes developing creative brief based on project intent and customer insights, providing feedback to agency throughout development, routing for feedback and ensuring all required updates are made.
  • Manages creative execution with all required cross-functional teams as well as oversight of deliverables, including marketing project plans, timelines and results gathering. Identifies any potential issues and opportunities and appropriately escalates. Develops detailed documentation for team reference.
  • Ensures all brand standards and Legal/Compliance requirements are met in marketing collateral.

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors' degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, project management or agency environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with creative agency teams to develop creative strategies
  • At least 1 year of experience building marketing strategies
  • At least 1 year of project management experience
  • At least 1 year of experience assessing marketing performance results and optimization implications based on key performance indicators (KPI's)

Preferred Qualifications:

 

 

  • Experience in Financial services
  • Experience in the Retail industry
