About this roleReady for a challenge? As an Operations Planning Specialist, you will ensure predictable and executable staffing plans across Belgium through data-driven decision-making. Operating from our Belgium Scoober office, you will lead availability and workforce management to align courier supply with demand trends. Collaborating closely with Planning and Operations teams, you will deliver optimized resource schedules while caring for team configurations to mitigate operational risks and maintain a competitive advantage.
Location: Belgium Scoober Office (Standard Hybrid Policy)
These are some of the key components to the position:Own weekly availability management to ensure courier placement is demand-aligned, contract-compliant, and embedded into planning cycles.
Lead holiday management quality analysis to strategically steer time-off configurations in line with broader business needs.
Monitor shift cancellations and open-shift acceptance trends to ensure short-term predictability through proactive re-forecasting.
Coordinate scheduling for newly onboarded couriers to align their first shifts with contractual hours and fleet targets.
Maintain and adjust fixed shift configurations to ensure long-term scheduling remains synchronized with evolving demand trends.
Analyze peak-period staffing levels to provide data-driven support and execute shift extension management during high-volume windows.
Monitor fleet configuration adherence to act as the primary operational link, feeding field learnings back into core planning.
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in operational planning, workforce management, demand coordination, or supply chain planning environments.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational trends in order volume, availability, and staffing levels.
Technical proficiency working with workforce planning tools and data platforms such as Excel or Tableau.
High attention to detail combined with a structured, proactive mindset to mitigate execution risks.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills to partner effectively across matrix teams.
Resilience and adaptability to operate successfully in a fast-paced logistics environment with frequent changes.
