What will I be doing?
- Partner with local and global leaders as well as the Senior People Partner, supporting workforce planning, role design, team effectiveness and more
- Provide coaching and guidance on people issues, employee relations, and performance management, ensuring compliance with local labour laws
- Oversee and advise on labor and administrative cases, coordinating closely with Legal teams and managing communications as needed. This includes preparing Notice to Explain (NTE), Notice of Decision (NOD) and other formal communications required for employee relations cases
- Attend to separated employee cases involving NLRD (National Labor Relations Division) or DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) as needed
- Anticipate and address business and people challenges before they arise
- Drive continuous improvement projects to set the team up for success and help scale operations
- Deliver leadership and employee development programs to build high-performing teams
- Guide leaders in deploying the Manila Handbook and the global Code of Conduct
- Ensuring consistent implementation of global policies in a local framework
- Collaborate with the broader P&C team to ensure seamless alignment across headcount planning, recruitment, onboarding and the full employee lifecycle
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in a HR business partnering role
- Deep knowledge of the Philippine labour laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trusted partnerships with leaders based in Manila and globally, able to independently advise and influence leaders
- High emotional intelligence, particularly in navigating complex, sensitive employee situations
- Ability to anticipate and address a broad range of people issues
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and responsibilities in parallel
- Excellent planning, time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills in assessing anomalies, performing documented investigations, establishing patterns and evaluating resourcing needs
- Experience in the tech industry or other fast-paced environments would be considered a plus
