Job Description
- Bring our people pact to. live as you deliver HR support for a dedicated client group of managers and employees.
- Service as a consultant to managers and coach them thru complex employee situations, share guidance and best practices when necessary. Must be able to adjust communication and influence style to support leaders and employees at various levels in the organization
- Partner with HR Business Partners to assist with driving initiatives at scale that are aligned to the BU or Regional Strategy.
- Tailor the enablement of COE managed HR programs to meet the needs of assigned client groups and managers. Examples of year over year HR programs include organization reviews, performance management process, compensation planning cycle, talent review and succession planning processes, and workforce restructuring with applicable.
- Design and deliver HR programs and policies in functionally aligned and regionally relevant ways.
- Use data to draw insights to create a targeted self driven action plan to support talent strategy with HR Business Partner
- Provide HR policy, process and/or program advice and coaching to employee and managers, when escalated
- Leading as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects
- Assist in driving communication and sharing of best practices across the People Partner team to facilitate continuous improvement
- Looking at great process improvements within current Global People processes including the creation of local or regional process with necessary COEs
- Act as culture champion, regionally and functionally, working with leaders to drive high-levels of engagement
- Be an expert in local legislation and policy interpretation, partnership with Employee Relations to ensure compliance
- Support up to Sr Director to execute on:
- Strategic workforce planning
- talent reviews and succession planning
- organizational design, change management and culture
- leadership and team development
- identify relevant workforce trends that will impact the business unit
Qualifications
To be a rockstar in this role you have:
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to form relationships with the business as a known trusted advisor
- Ability to manage own time and workload, juggling conflicting priorities
- Knowledge of HR programs and processes (for example, performance management, workforce planning, talent management, and employment laws)
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Possess confidence in handling ambiguous and fluid situations
- Good understanding of cultural and geographic differences and practices
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years direct client facing HR generalist or HR business partner experience
- Slight preference for candidates that have already obtained PHR or CaPHR certification
- Will consider advanced degrees in lieu of direct experience
