Job Description

The People & Culture (Human Resources) Business partner works closely with management and employees to ensure the improvement of work relationships, they will work with talent acquisition, payroll, compensation and benefits and global mobility. The HRBP will be responsible for implementing the HZI People Strategy for the business in accordance with its policies and practices, the ethical and social demands and the local laws and regulations.

  • Overall management of the personnel administration, including interface to payroll administration, employment contracts, entry/leaving formalities, certificates, agreements and correspondence
  • Agency and Freelance management and providing the interface between Talent Acquisition and the admin team in close cooperation with line managers
  • Advice and support to management and staff in all P&C related matters & processes
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g. coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Leadership and development of local to P&C team

Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in a similar HR leadership role, with expertise in all HR functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, with practical experience handling complex visa applications, immigration processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity, with demonstrated success in navigating complex interpersonal situations, resolving conflicts, and fostering inclusive, collaborative teams.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with a proven track record of leading teams, driving strategic HR initiatives, and making sound judgments in fast-paced, high-stakes situations.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with hands-on experience utilizing People & Culture (P&C) systems or other HR technology platforms to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills considered an asset, especially in languages relevant to the regions of operation.
