Pay Range: $26.75
Requirements:
This position takes three different rolls of material and loads them into a quilting machine. The This position takes three different rolls of material and loads them into a quilting machine. The three layers are sewn together, and a fancy stitched design is put onto them. The rolls weigh 50-80 lbs. each and are replaced approximately 3-5 times per hour. The quilter works at a very rapid speed and the operator must be detail oriented to assure top quality and no missed stitches. It there are problems, the operator must be able to diagnose them quickly, and determine if maintenance must be called for the repair. The machine is operated by a touch screen-controlled computer.

Preferred QualificationsRequirements
* Must be detail oriented and be able to visually inspect the finished fabric as it moves through the machine at a very fast speed
* Ability to stand for the entire shift
* Must be able to diagnose problems and make appropriate adjustments or call maintenance as appropriate
* Ability to lift, carry and load the rolls of material up to 80 lbs.
* Must be able to operate a computerized, high-speed machine through touch screen controls
* Must be able to work flexible hours
