Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Workplace Specialist to support our Corporate Real Estate team. This position is open to virtual / remote work and can be based from any major US office location.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the implementation, and future management of the space booking system.
  • Coordinate utilization sensor technology initiatives.
  • Working closely with the real estate team, prepares high level test-fits for various space optimization scenarios using AutoCAD.
  • Collect floor plans from global real estate contacts for the repository.
  • Assures updated floor plans are in the booking system, as well as in the real estate repository.
  • Support the credibility and accuracy of space plans through regular audits.
  • Coordinate the updates in the IWMS/Space booking system.
  • Trains global staff on booking system as needed.
  • Provides regularly scheduled reporting, floor plan updates, space allocations, and appropriate occupancy and vacancy reporting.
  • Analyze and recommend process or system improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Build and maintain a "system of record" for all portfolio, headcount, lease, space, and utilization data to help with current and future reporting in the portfolio.
  • Provide in-depth reporting and analysis of utilization, badge, and sensor data. Develop KPIs for utilization, attendance, and SF/Head based on space usage.
  • Adhere to AECOM's requirement of ethics, information security and processes.
  • Minimal travel - likely 20% or less

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant space planning/management and office interiors design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience in space management data systems and analytics.
  • Experience in AutoCAD/Revit, Adobe, and emerging visual presentation tools.
  • General knowledge of ADA requirements.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles.
  • Knowledge of BOMA and other space calculation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Visio preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IWMS system preferred.
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Planning preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications to coordinate and collaborate globally.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively work in a cross-functional and matrixed organization with rapid change.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Detail-oriented and understanding overall goals and strategies of space.
  • Experience in analytical tools such as Tableau/Power BI preferred.

  • Due to the remote/virtual nature of this position, relocation assistance is not available
  • Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position.

Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is: $70,000 to $100,000.
