Wellness Manager Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the firm's wellness initiatives and activities that improves employee mental, physical and financial wellbeing. Collaborating with the Benefits Director to articulate a wellness strategy. Identify, evaluate and recommend wellness opportunities. Implementing approved national programs and helping local champions with identifying appropriate local programs. Managing wellness vendor relationships and contracts. Working as a liaison with the firm's Employee Network Groups to co-create programs within the network groups. Creating and coordinating communications and program promotions with the RSM Experience communications team.

RSM has offices in many cities across the US. This role is open on a National level, we'd love for you to sit close to one of our offices and are flexible to that location as well as remote options!

Essential Duties:

Wellness Program Management

  • In collaboration with the Benefits Director, evaluates holistic health, financial, and mental conditions facing employee population and then researches and designs programs and campaigns to target and improve those conditions.
    Evaluates new solutions, potential vendors and programs for US, Canada and other global employees. Conducts cost benefit analysis to determine value of opportunity. Presents opportunities to key stakeholders for decision making.
    Manages relationships with wellness vendors. Holds regular meetings with vendors to evaluate performance, finds areas for improvement and promotion, escalates and resolves issues.
  • Researches options from current vendors and works with communications team to maximize awareness and participation and resources that support Moments that Matter campaign.
    Implements wellness vendors as decided on by leadership. Works with data security, privacy and legal to review contracts.
  • Measures and analyzes program outcomes and presents recommended adjustments
  • Creates and manages wellness hub on company intranet. Coordinates and schedules wellness webinars from current vendors and seeks opportunities to add additional webinar content resources.
  • Creates and delivers additional webinars that promotes firm wellbeing resources.
  • Seeks out and evaluates market competitive information. Works with firm's benefits consultant and other resources to stay informed on market developments.
  • Works with mental health resources and stakeholders to identify and deliver content for employees and leader trainings.
  • Maintains list of local office wellness programs. Evaluates efficiency of local offerings and identifies opportunities to expand local offerings to a national level.
  • Collaborates with Benefits Director on other wellness related areas and opportunities such as flu shot clinics, COVID vaccine booster clinics, etc.
  • Where relevant, provides payroll team information needed for appropriate tax handling for wellness incentives or other taxable wellness programs (i.e. wellness reimbursement or other similar programs).
  • When approved, conducts employee surveys to identify areas of interest related to wellness programs.


Employee Network Group Liaison

  • Supports the Benefits Director by establishing an advisory group made up of Employee Network Group representatives. Leads this group to promote national initiatives, solicit feedback, co-creates wellness programs within the Employee Network Groups.
  • Identifies resources and benefit offerings that connect to relevant Employee Network Groups.Partners with CDI project managers and Employee Network Group leaders and representatives to promote these offerings and educates group members.
  • Develops and updates content to support Moments that Matter and identifies connections to Employee Network Groups


Survey Resources

  • Supports Benefits Director with answering industry surveys for benchmarking as well as survey requests for participation in Fortune Great Places to Work and Working Mother
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS Degree - Required (public health, counseling, wellness or related field preferred)


TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Knowledge of wellness and fitness topics - Required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Required
  • Proficient in medical terminology - Preferred
  • Demonstrated data collection, analytic and data reporting/presentation skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees within the organization required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once - Required
  • Demonstrate skills critical thinking - Required
  • Project management experience - Preferred
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills required.
  • High level of confidentiality required.


EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years' experience coordinating an employee wellness program for a large employer - Required
  • Program implementation - Required
  • Customer Service experience - Required
  • Benefits experience- Preferred
  • 2-3 years working in collaborative or team environment - Required
