POSITION OVERVIEW

The Waste Reduction and Recycling Specialist is the face of ReCollect, handling inbound inquiries, as well as proactively connecting with organizations who have an interest in Recollect's services. The ideal individual in this role is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and is highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize time, and maintain attention to detail. They are especially passionate about or have an interest in waste, recycling, and sustainability. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represents ReCollect and responds to all inbound inquiries
  • Networks and connects with organizations that would benefit from ReCollect’s Services
  • Utilizes HubSpot and G-Suite (especially Google Sheets) on a daily basis
  • Collaborates with marketing department to develop educational campaigns designed to promote engagement
  • Prioritizes and organizes pipeline for maximum efficiency on a daily basis
  • Learns and leverages product features, values, marketing and others to ensure goals are met
  • Stays up-to-date with trends in the solid waste and recycling industry
  • Ensures all sales activities are recorded, tracked and accurately
  • Works within a team to deliver the best customer experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Business Management, or related field preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Experience with CRMs (Hubspot/SalesForce)
  • Experience and comfort working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
