Are you a highly motivated and passionate leader who would love to re-envision and operate a world-class Vulnerability & Attack Surface Management (VASM) Program? You will design, develop, implement and manage the technology and processes connected with reducing the attack surface across Danaher's diverse portfolio of 20+ operating companies!

You will join a thriving information security program focused on strategically delivering an enterprise class service through a goal oriented and people focused approach! Continuous improvement and measurable results are core elements of operating the service at scale. You will be empowered to bring efficiency, integration, automation and critical focus using metrics to track maturity, health, and evolution against the program vision.

We are open to remote work from any continental U.S based major city with access to an international airport.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promote and embed vulnerability management purpose and goals into business operations and information technology lifecycle management processes to reduce the threat footprint of applications, infrastructure and other systems.
  • Lead a team and external service providers to design and operate a robust & scalable service offering.
  • Define, measure and quantifiably reduce business risk and vulnerability impact within functions and holistically across the global organization.
  • Anticipate internal and external challenges to managing vulnerabilities and the organization's attack surface; recommend processes, procedures, and technology solution needs to monitor key measures.
  • Apply problem solving and critical thinking to solve unique and sophisticated problems with a sense of urgency using a pragmatic approach
  • Serve as a technical multi-functional resource to identify, analyze and mitigate impact to applications and systems. Mitigate sources of security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance data management capabilities that provide for consistent, efficient, and actionable reporting. Possesses an attention to detail and ability to report at various levels of management.

    Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in large enterprises involving aspects of transformation and process improvement
  • Strong leadership experience in a large and global enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading vulnerability management or related programs
  • Expertise with enterprise vulnerability management platforms such as Rapid7, Qualys, or Tenable
  • Effective at building relationships with internal and external partners and demonstrated ability to motivate change in an organization

    Preferred Qualifications
  • SANS, CISSP or similar certifications
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and changing business requirements
  • Highly collaborative, successful in a matrixed and geographically diverse environment
