Overview
Responsible for the technical ownership of key IT service delivery and project management tools including Jira, Smartsheets, and Clarizen. Manage the teams and personnel supporting the tools to ensure proper work prioritization and drive on-time delivery. Serve as a key leader in ensuring IT tools teams work in close collaboration with customers to understand their requirements and timeline constraints. Develop an annual roadmap and strategy for each tool, which may include optimizing the tools suite to simplify service management and project delivery.
Job Description

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop yearly roadmaps for IT Service delivery and Project Management tools
  • Manage the development, roll-out, and support of custom solutions
  • Communicate and perform change management in the deployment of new tools and features
  • Ensure proper security standards are implemented for all tools
  • Set and manage goals/milestones for tools team members to help drive results
  • Create and lead a comprehensive integration and consolidation strategy for all tools used by IT
  • Maintain awareness of the availability of new tools to better support internal processes
  • Provide automation strategies where applicable for each tool
  • Coordinate contracts between our internal contracts team and our tool vendors to ensure we have the correct plans in place
  • Lead the tools team to create and deploy status dashboard views and make them available to all users
  • Work closely with the internal audit team to identify and enforce user access requirements for each tool
  • Ensure application and system administration tasks are performed, including licensing, data backups, and scheduled jobs.
  • Research and implement the best industry standards, methods, and techniques
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies related to each tool and application
  • Demonstrate behaviors in alignment with the organization's desired culture and values
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years' experience as JIRA Administrator with experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemes, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes is required.
  • Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)
  • Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in JIRA, a must
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must be able to work and thrive in a dynamic agile environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic with good time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of Cloud Computing technologies
  • Knowledge and experience working on Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX
