  • Drive end-to-end strategic projects to launch a new business or accelerate the growth of an existing business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to combine market research, user insight, and product vision to drive strategic decision making
  • Oversee and lead the scoping of complex research-based projects, secure stakeholder and working team engagement and provide operational leadership and support as needed to deliver key business outcomes
  • Prepare financial and operational analysis on business cases, including managing a P&L
  • Prepare “executive ready” project deliverables and manage alignment and communication with key stakeholders

ABOUT YOU:

  • 10+ years experience in management consulting and 5+ years experience working in ecommerce, logistics or retail industries
  • You have strong business acumen: ability to approach complex business problems in a structured way and drive rapidly towards insight
  • Outstanding research, analysis, and writing skills
  • You posses strong people leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • You must be fast, flexible, and outcomes-oriented: able and excited to lead teams in an environment with rapid cycles of analysis, decision, and action
  • Experience leading cross functional teams in a high-growth environment
  • You have previous experience with an online brand that has opened retail locations
  • Quantitative expertise
  • Strong opinions and a track record of success
  • You are able to clearly articulate resource trade-off decisions
  • Excellent communication, decision making and organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable operating closer to the ground with smaller teams

An Insider's view of The Pro's Closet

What's something quirky about your company?

A lot of us employees are total nerds when it comes to cycling but we also get to engage with all types of customers. From someone looking to purchase their first bike to professional athletes looking to sell us their gear! We are able to connect and build relationships all while never meeting. It's truly unique within the cycling industry!

Dylan

Customer Experience Representative

What projects are you most excited about?

Our overall team has deep knowledge and understanding of bikes and the cycling industry; we want to use that to build tools that rapidly scale up our unique re-commerce operations. There are multiple opportunities and approaches and it's a huge opportunity for creative problem solving to make an immediate impact on the business.

Jon

Sr. Engineer

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I came on 2 years ago as a shipping clerk and worked my way up into a leadership position as the warehouse lead. It's exciting to grow along with the company as I've seen TPC grow from a small warehouse into the giant operation it is now.

Alice

Warehouse Lead

What makes someone successful on your team?

The ability to collaborate effectively with other departments is extremely important for the success of the Finance and Accounting teams. Working to improve cross-functional processes in a way that will make our jobs easier, but also not limit other departments’ functions is essential while the company experiments with new ideas.

Abby

Controller
