FIGS is seeking a Vice President of International to oversee all aspects of FIGS’ strategy, brand, marketing, merchandising, and operations internationally.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the strategic leader and general manager for all international markets in which FIGS currently operates and to which FIGS plans to expand in the future.
- Refine the customer experience and optimize FIGS operations in existing international markets of Canada, UK, and Australia.
- Complete in-depth research and analysis to inform the prioritization of new international markets.
- Further develop FIGS go-to-market strategy for new markets, ensuring that the strategy is tailored to meet the needs of each market while also being scalable.
- Partner with FIGS Brand and Marketing teams to grow brand awareness, develop community, and acquire customers in FIGS’ international markets.
- Partner with FIGS Merchandising team to ensure that product and ecommerce experience are localized and relevant.
- Partner with FIGS Operations to optimize all aspects of international fulfillment, shipping, and duty processes.
- Partner with Finance and Legal to optimize tax and legal entity structures.
- Hire and manage in-country / in-region teams to support the growth of the FIGS brand internationally.
- Manage the P&L for all international markets.
- 15+ years of professional experience spanning broad range of business functions in international context at apparel company with significant ecommerce
- Broad understanding of international strategic and business complexities across essentially all business functions
- Proven experience launching an apparel brand in new markets
- Expertise in international team building, localization and organizational development
- Expertise in strategic planning and execution
- Passion for international markets
- Deep knowledge of ecommerce
- Ability to regularly travel internationally
- Outstanding communication skills
