Our single family real estate investment division is seeking a VP Real Estate Valuation to take on a leadership position in our team. This role will include directing analyst assignments, determining portfolio valuation strategies, and managing bandwidth allocations amongst competing projects. We are looking for a manager to help build scalable practices supporting the retain value determination of tens of thousands of single family residential properties per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal business unit leadership and business development functions to analyze and define key real estate valuations project or initiative needs
  • Determine analyst research priorities and coordinate efforts to maximize valuations review efficiency
  • Manage property valuation processes including internal estimates, order placement, valuations review and delivery of final valuations
  • Provide support and documentation on all related matters for the properties
  • Compile and analyze project progress and performance
  • Research analysis of real estate property values and trends within our marketplace for maximum return on investments
  • Negotiate with outside real estate brokers and clients and negotiate real estate portfolio investment valuations
  • Manage team of real estate analysts and associated workflows

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or similar field
  • Direct supervisory or managerial experience
  • Project/portfolio management experience - Real Estate preferred
  • Prior Broker Price Opinion / Single Family Real Estate Valuation experience strongly desired
  • Solid communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Strong negotiation skills are a must
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with MS Office with focus on Excel
