The Value-Based Programs Lead supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The Value-Based Programs Lead provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience.

Responsibilities

The Value-Based Programs Lead works with senior executives to develop and drive segment or enterprise-wide functional strategies. Advises one or more areas, programs or functions and provides recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance, and as an advanced subject matter expert competent to work at very high levels in multiple knowledge and functional areas across the enterprise.

In supporting Humana's Value-Based Strategies organization, the Value-Based (VB) Programs Lead will be accountable for the development of new innovative VB provider payment models designed to promote improved quality, outcomes, and cost of care.Primary responsibilitiesof this role will be the evaluation of VB Payment Model efficacy andscalability as we seek to broaden our coreVB Program portfolio.
  • Develops, Designs, andImplements new payment arrangements that improve quality and the member experience
  • This role reports to the Associate Vice President of Value Based Strategies

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience with developing and/or managing value-based payment models/relationships
  • 2+ years of project leadership experience
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues
  • Capable of working under minimal supervision
  • Be able to use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's Degree


Additional Information

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. Work-At-Home Requirements
  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
