As a Sourcing Recruiting Lead, you have a passion for lead generation, building a pipeline, attracting passive talent and networking. The Sourcing Lead will guide a team of technical recruiting sourcers to partner with recruitment teams and help deliver talent as we scale. This role is essential to our team - you will collaborate closely with customers and business leaders to support a variety of organizations within our technical skill teams, helping strategize and build a foundation to hire the best diverse talent. This leader must be someone who can develop and grow strong relationships, build effective sourcing strategies for their team, communicate with data and creatively bring us excellent applicants. This person will have a history of taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in an evolving and changing market and environment. Your industry knowledge, as well as expert compliance knowledge, will shine in reaching the best possible outcome for both candidates and for Ford!

What you'll be able to do:

  • Engage, lead and develop a team of high-caliber sourcing recruiters in a dynamic environment.
  • Bring passive leads to our talent community through proactive outreach and searching.
  • Work with internal and external partners to deliver diverse talent pipelines.
  • Generate pipeline and applicant leads through networking, relationship-building, strategic partnerships and sourcing best practices.
  • Partner with key customers (Business leaders, hiring managers, recruiting managers) to determine future talent needs and drive sourcing strategies.
  • Understand and share deep understanding of talent channels through market research and data analysis.
  • Bring recruitment expertise to the front-end of the recruiting and sourcing process - collaborating with recruiting teams and leaders to execute effective sourcing plans.
  • Construct a pipeline for typical skills within Ford of varying manufacturing roles


The minimum requirements we seek:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of Recruiting experience
  • 3+ years of technical sourcing experience
  • 2+ years of mentorship or leadership experience


Our preferred requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • History of networking and growing strategic partnerships to influence pipeline
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing
  • Confirmed ability to work and excel within a team environment
  • Ability to make decisions, take direction, and implement a plan
  • Demonstrated background in recruitment strategy, conception and development supported by operational depth
  • Excellent communication, leadership and client service skills
  • Resourceful and thorough with strong organizational skills
