An Insider's view of Flywire

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Flywire's work-life balance is great! I have so much flexibility. I've really taken advantage of the Hybrid work model that Flywire offers working from home Mondays and Fridays then coming into the office Tuesdays-Thursdays. I can work comfortably and confidently from anywhere and step away when I need a break.

Alissa

Cash Management & Treasury Lead, Americas

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

Flywire is a truly global company with offices across the world. Marketing is an exciting team to be a part of because we are at the intersection of so many different initiatives. We partner with sales, customer success, business operations, people & culture and product, and so much more!

Allison MacLeod

CMO

How does the company support your career growth?

I have been able to grow my career due to the encouragement and support provided by the company on any given day. From all of the internal and external trainings that are offered to us, to the mentoring and coaching I receive from my fellow FlyMates, I never feel that I am "stuck" in my personal or professional career growth.

Maicol

Client Success Operations, Travel

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

It is important to me to ensure our team has the tools and resources needed, but not micromanage how they use them. This allows each person to assume responsibility and be creative with their own process. We also prioritize brainstorming in meetings, recognizing creative approaches, and connecting with others outside of our team for inspiration!

Sydney

What’s the vibe like in the office?

The vibe in the Boston office is very welcoming and energetic, where you can feel a sense of belonging. The people who come into the Boston office come in because we can bring our authentic selves. It is a very positive, uplifting vibe.
