Training Manager
The Training Manager will support a team of content developers and facilitators and will be responsible for their development and performance. This role requires someone with strong people management skills, coaching skills, extensive experience in facilitation and instructional design, and a focus on employee engagement and retention.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of training professionals with varying degrees of experience
- Set performance expectations for team and provide continual coaching
- Perform regular reviews of work with team members
- Maintain strong relationships with workforce management and quality assurance leaders
- Collaborate with other training managers to ensure consistency for the training department
- Support team in utilizing a variety of training techniques/methods
- Manage team priorities and work load
- Perform all managerial duties for team relating to performance management and day-to-day operations
- Participate in a community of practice with other business managers
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in the training industry, including at least 2 years managing others
- Very strong communications skills, including experience with facilitating content with executives
- Excellent coaching skills, can use a wide variety of coaching techniques
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems through collaboration and a growth mindset
- Comfortable presenting information to groups
- Extensive problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Works well under pressure with a proactive approach, including managing multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and priorities
- Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service
This position is a fully remote, work from home position.
