Job Description
The Training Department for the Video Security & Access Control will be responsible for delivering consistent and valuable training to educate customers, partners, and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct employee, customer and partner training using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, including corporate-based learning, regional ILTs, and virtual learning
- Responsible for maintaining the training room infrastructure for Training organization
- Maintain education records (i.e. rosters, examinations, etc.,) for delivery of metrics and reporting
- Assist and maintain Avigilon’s technical education courses that support both the onsite and field training certification program
- Write and review certification exam questions, requirements, and lab results to measure participant’s comprehension of the training
- Ensure certification exams are consistently measuring the learner’s knowledge and understanding of the material. Provide feedback, analysis, and recommendations on certification exam
- Deliver on-boarding and sales training to internal employees and partners
- Work with content development to establish on content for new products or changes to existing products
- Collaborate with the appropriate business units to clearly understand the usage and intent of new features and how that translates into training needs
- Understand and incorporate the best practices for Avigilon products (installation, operation) into the training
- Create courseware assets as needed (examples, exercise instructions, etc.)
- Provide continuous improvement recommendations to delivering training
Qualifications:
- Work experience delivering training; product implementation experience is a plus
- Strong technical acumen; technical sales training experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, WebEx
- Proven presentation skills and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Creative thinker, highly motivated and self-managing
- Must be able to coordinate and organize tasks and activities to ensure that project schedules and project goals are met
- Must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with others in a fast pace environment
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time including international travel
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
