GENERAL FUNCTION: Functions as the primary customer service and support for all field representatives and sales support personnel for Fifth Third Securities.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensuresthatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank#s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond promptly to incoming telephone calls and/or e-mails from investment professionals.
• Process maintenance requests on existing accounts.
• Escalate trends/issues/concerns appropriately.
• Answer a variety of account and/or procedure inquiries.
• Respond to balance inquiries and explain account activity.
• Responsible for processing of money movement requests to and from brokerage accounts.
• Maintain current understanding of rules and regulations and the policies impacted by the regulatory environment.
• Communicate and explain current account settlement instructions for sweeps, periodic investments, systematic withdrawal, dividend reinvestment, and ACH.
• Research and resolve issues in client accounts in a timely fashion consistent with department guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.

SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain knowledge of Retirement Accounts, Cost Basis and general IRS guidelines.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 license preferred.
• 1-3 years of previous brokerage industry experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong customer service focus.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks in a high stress, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks with little direction from supervisor.
• Self-Motivated, strong work ethic and dependability.
• Ability to work in a stressful team environment, meet deadlines, and service accounts with high attention to detail.
• Proficient with Windows XP, Outlook, and other Microsoft Products. Excellent PC skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
