The Trading Partner Manager's (TPM) mission is to proactively focus on the Premier and Strategic Trading Partner's relationships for payer migrations, product deployments, increased revenue opportunities, and managing the day-to-day operations. The TPM will be assigned territories for their Strategic Trading Partners and aligned with Premier Trading Partners. Trading partners include clearinghouses, practice management system vendors, electronic medical record vendors, IPAs, TPAs, and large submitters.

The Trading Partner Manager will be responsible for the relationship management for Premier Trading Partners and Strategic Trading Partners. Relationship management will include being the liaison for Payer Migrations, Payer Deployment of new products, maintaining the Premier Health Plan direct volumes, and the health of the transactions. The TPM will broker the meetings between payers, support, and internal teams for migrations, deployments, and/or high-level support escalations. They will be responsible for leading migrations, reporting out specific strategic account metrics including outbound call campaigns, and up-selling of additional services to trading partners. The Trading Partner Manager will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for their assigned accounts and responsible for maintaining those relationships. The SME captures business intelligence such as decision makers, escalation paths, support processes, business models, and opportunities for growth. The TPM will then be able to prime the net new or existing Strategic Trading Partners

for Trading Partner Business Development and/or RCM Sales Executives.

The Trading Partner Manager will maintain technical knowledge, professional skills, and market knowledge by attending industry workshops, tradeshows, client meetings, professional societies, and reviewing professional publications. The position requires a self-starter who requires minimal supervision, strong business acumen, and excellent relationship management skills. Up to 25% travel is required.

To be qualified for this position:
  • 5+ years of experience in direct sales or account management (Clearinghouse and EDI experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet quantitative goals, take direction, and work independently
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Stable job history
  • Ability to accommodate up to 25% travel

You will be:
  • Managing the Premier and Strategic Trading Partner relationships for day-to-day operations such as accountability for migrations, deployments of new products, escalation and resolution of issues originating from customers or internal teams.
  • Owning the Strategic Trading Partner relationships and responsible for identification of new growth opportunities, increasing transaction volumes, maintaining direct volumes, and being the Subject Matter Expert on the partnership.
  • Demonstrating Subject Matter Expert who captures business intelligence such as decision makers, escalation paths, support processes, competitive intel, and partners business models.
  • Providing leadership and cross-functional teams with SME intel and industry knowledge. Liaising to all internal teams.
  • Developing and maintaining a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Driving leads for the Trading Partner Business Development and/or RCM Sales executives to increase revenue for Trading Partners with goal of achieving and exceeding personal and company goals.
  • Responsible for successfully managing and completing payer migrations and/or deployments on behalf of the premier payers and maintaining the direct volumes.
  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Premier and Strategic Trading Partners including the health of the transactions.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities (Additional EDI/B2B/API or product and/or support) within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by upselling and cross-selling.
  • Maintaining technical knowledge, professional skills, and market knowledge by attending industry workshops, tradeshows, client meetings, professional societies, and reviewing professional publications.
  • Responsible for building strong inter-departmental relationships to achieve individual, team, and corporate objectives.
  • Communicating with accounts on a regular basis based on tier structure and need, via newsletters, email, phone, and/or face to face meetings
  • Occasionally traveling to various home offices, partner location, sales shows, user group meetings, etc. is required
