Are you an exceptional Support Engineer that has offered a white glove service to executives to provide system support? Do you have experience supporting the trading floor? Do you have financial enterprise business experience? If so, then you may be Fivesky’s next Trade Floor Windows Support Engineer in New York.

Who you are: 

• At least 5 years+ working with Windows Desktop applications
• Experience working in the financial industry
• Working with enterprise support tools and vendor services such as virtual machine technology (VMWare), anti-virus (Symantec), SCCM software deployments, patch management, Appsense & Citrix Remote working environments
• Be proficient with Windows Server Infrastructure: Candidates need to be proficient in navigating server environments 
• An expert scripter with either Powershell/Bash/Python or Perl (Be able to script from scratch) 
• Have an understanding of Enterprise and Cyber security concepts such as demarcation zones (DMZs), firewalls, proxies, Email relays, Certificate management and Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts
• Knowledge of the DevOps Operating model and the role of a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
• You are comfortable navigating with all levels including senior management throughout the firm

What you’ve done:

• Worked with traders offering support the trading floor 
• Provided Level 3 Support 
• Worked on Windows/Linux Operating Systems
• Been involved in Cloud Implementations in AWS, Google Compute or Azure
• Understand an Agile/DevOps operating environment

What you will do:

• Provide onsite and remote support for the organization and senior level executives on a daily basis
• Be the primary point of contact for the Leadership team and the Executive Assistants
• Resolve complex, break/fix issues following any issue until its resolution
