We're building a dynamic team focused on innovative and impactful customer engagements. The Technology Evangelist is charged with supporting leading edge customer demos and experiences in our Executive Briefing Center at our new Global HQ in Houston. You will be responsible for supporting and delivering how we bring digital transformation to life for our customers through showcasing emerging technologies and interactive demos. You'll also work closely with our Global Demo program team and subject matter experts to ensure the success of all demos and integrated experiences throughout the center, as well as provide support for the data center infrastructure that runs many of the demo applications.

The ideal candidate loves to geek out on tech, is creative and knowledgeable about key trends in the technology industry and demonstrates outstanding collaboration and communication skills. The candidate should be self-motivated and agile with a commitment to customers and high-quality results.

In a typical day as a Technology Evangelist, you would
• Support the development of immersive, interactive demo experiences and customer scenarios for the Houston Executive Briefing Center
• Experiment with emerging technologies and implement them
• Be a key discussion leader for customer engagements to deliver exceptional demos and showcase outcome based solutions
• Proactively engage key cross-functional stakeholders and Business Leaders to refine messaging and demo experiences in the center

to develop new methods to apply to the situation
• Understand, apply and advocate the HPE Strategy and associated industry messaging
• Provide, operate, and support local data center infrastructure in coordination with other team members mainly based in Switzerland.

If you are
• Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values.
• Holding a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
• 3+ years IT experience
• Having deep knowledge of HPE infrastructure technology (Servers, storage, network, virtualization)
• Technical capabilities in Datacenter infrastructure management (monitoring, CMDB)
• Linux/Windows OS administration
• Up to date knowledge of technical innovations & trends and their impact on solving customer business problems
• Hands-on skills with datacenter set-up and operation
• Having the capacity to work in fast-paced, complex, evolving environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills for customer briefings
• Knowledgeable of public cloud
