Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The Workday Relationship Manager is a liaison between Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH) and its client partners with a passion for both Workday technology and customer service. The Workday Relationship Manager is part of the Human Resources Technology Solutions (HRTS) team at BSMH. This role works closely with the BSMH client, Human Resources, and IT teams.

Essential Job Functions

Set the standard for how we work with external partners, interpret their needs, and prioritize HRTS workflows dedicated to partner success. Specifically, we're looking for the following skillsets:

  • Program Management: Own all facets of the partner success process for strategic accounts. Define and coordinate partners' program requirements, including program management of non-standard partner needs. Coordinate product training and on-boarding of new large and small scale partners. Accelerate partner deployments by identifying and facilitating program expansion opportunities. Assist with sales product demonstrations.
  • Technical Support: Assist the client in the administration and optimization of their Workday solution. Coordinate with their HRTS team in all areas of configuration ensuring consistency and best-practice configurations are leveraged to meet the client's needs while maintaining overall BSMH Workday system integrity.
  • Requirements Analysis/Partner Support: Acquire deep knowledge of customers' vision, products, and objectives. Anticipate partner needs and resolve significant pain points before they become fires. Advocate for partners' needs with internal teams and provide compelling evidence to inspire action.
  • Workflow Prioritization: Steer BSMH to focus its partner-related efforts on work that will have the biggest positive impact for partners. Balance customer needs and competing business priorities, look for opportunities for efficiency, automate repetitive work, and design scalable workflows.
  • Strategic Guidance: Be a strategic advisor to BSMH partners. Earn partners' trust and influence their customer-facing technology strategy. Help partners optimize their Workday system to deliver an exceptional customer experience while maximizing partner value.
  • HRTS Partner: Operate as part of the team in serving BSMH internal clients through support, education, and technical expertise.



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, success criteria, goals and metrics, dependencies, timelines and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Develop and deliver requirements documentation.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and oversee project team members and third party vendors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations on agreed upon frequency, and analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Education

Bachelors degree in business, healthcare administration, human resources, or other related field

Combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.

Work Experience

5 years of experience in a similar role; client-facing and system implementation experience (required)
