What You Will Be Doing

Our ability to provide a differentiated customer technical services experience is a key pillar to the Pure Storage promise. At Pure Storage we believe a great product is only half the battle; a great technical services experience is just as important. Our technical services team will make sure your questions are answered or we'll work with you to make it right.

Pure Storage is seeking an experienced manager for our technical services team in Lehi, Utah. In this role you will lead and scale our team of technical services engineers, monitoring customer arrays 24x7. You will document and train individual functions within the team. The goal of this organization is to be the front-line helping our customers solve problems quickly and efficiently. This position is ideal for strong technical services manager looking to take the next step in their career and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.

What You Bring To The Team

  • 5-7 years of experience in customer-facing, technical services related work. (Preferred) 
  • 3-5 years of experience in direct leadership in a people management role. (Preferred) 
  • Track record in developing strong teams through recruiting, performance management and team professional development. 
  • Track record in identifying and solutioning for process improvements and a vision for scalability improvements.
  • Proven ability to manage customer concerns and issues, utilizing appropriate internal and external resources.
  • Experience in the foundations of troubleshooting complex technical problems.
  • Experience in supporting both hardware and software products, triaging issues and escalating them to the appropriate groups such as Product Management, Engineering, etc.  (Preferred)
  • Track record in successful cross-functional collaboration with other internal business units.
  • Foundational knowledge in operating systems such as VMWare, Solaris, Linus, Windows.  (Bonus)
  • Foundational knowledge of ITIL concepts.  (Preferred)  Certification a bonus!
  • Thought leadership, innovative mindset and ability to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to be flexible with shift with advance notice.
  • Ability to participate in on-call\after hours support rotation.
