We’re seeking a highly ambitious technical account associate responsible for managing technical relationships and solutions for our clients.

As a subsidiary of, you will get the benefit of access to a range of services, while being able to chart an entrepreneurial path within a rapidly growing, small company. This is a highly visible role responsible for a number of ‘firsts’ across PointCentral, and the Proptech industry.

In this position, you will work closely with clients, peers, and other technical teams to identify, consult, and advise on technical solutions. The ideal candidate will be well versed in technology, have a methodical approach to problem solving, demonstrate strong communication and presentations skills, and have an interest in travel.

This position can be located in Washington, DC, Minneapolis, MN, or Portland, OR.


The Technical Account Associate’s primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting technical relationships with partners across the STR and MDU verticals
  • Assisting Technical Account Managers as needed for strategic technical projects and escalations
  • Acting as a technical escalation point for potential hardware and software issues
  • Documenting precise technical behavior and replication steps when necessary for product and engineering teams
  • Assisting with pre-sales engineering needs for key prospects and entry into new markets
  • Identifying content and process-based methods to reduce inbound partner support needs
  • Providing on-site and web-based product training and educational webinars
  • Organizing and analyzing partner feedback and escalations into structured data for product management evaluation
  • Maintain expertise in respective product area(s) and a high level of technical knowledge across the PointCentral platform
  • Testing new products and services for market readiness
  • Traveling to customer sites to engage with property management and installation partners
  • Partnering with Implementation Specialists to build and support implementation processes and projects
  • Special projects, as assigned


  • S. or B.A. degree in Engineering, IT, or Sciences field preferred
  • 3+ years work experience in technical support, account management, or related field
  • The ability to communicate with customers and vendors, both in writing and verbally in a clear, professional manner
  • A highly motivated self-starter who is able to operate independently
  • Excellent people skills; natural customer service orientation and disposition – candidate must enjoy working with clients and supporting internal customers in the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology
  • IT proficiency as well as competence in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in the multifamily property management industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of HVAC, locksmithing, and/or access control systems is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
