TIAA Bank has an opportunity for a Technical Relationship Manager who will serve as a single point of contact for designated lines of business and/or vendor(s). This role will develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders/leaders to understand their business, risks, and opportunities. This role will be responsible for the technical plans and delivery to meet the specific line of business and/or vendor needs. In addition, will be responsible for the shaping of the product roadmap, defining project scope and overseeing the roadmap execution efforts as they relate to end-to-end quality delivery while being accountable to the success of the technical ecosystem for the business.
This role will play a vital role in the growth and success of TIAA Bank. This position will be located in our Jacksonville, FL office.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Partner with line of business leaders and applicable stakeholders to understand their current business operations.
  • Able to build long term, positive relationships with stakeholders and/or vendors.
  • Facilitates technical strategy discussions with these same leaders and stakeholders to create and manage a technical roadmap applicable to the business needs and strategy.
  • Point of escalation for the Business and/or vendor(s) in support of activities such as production operations, execution, delivery, post warranty.
  • Able to operate in a matrix organizational structure, allowing oversight of technical analysts from the team who may help them support the business line and/or vendor.
  • Bridges the technical - business nomenclature.
  • Is able to conducts process improvement and continuous improvement analyses to identify potential areas for upgrades that would be ideal for business goals.
  • Helps to identify with the various delivery teams areas for process enhancements, improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness within the organization.
  • Able to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Utilizes metrics to help measure technical team effectiveness, inclusive of own team.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and technology.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of three (3) years' recent experience managing commercial banking relationships;
  • Minimum of three (3) years' recent experience in a customer service role interacting with both internal and external clients;
  • Minimum of three (3) years working in an Information Technology role; ability to translate IT terminology to non-technical staff members;

Preferred:

  • College degree in Business Management, Marketing or a similar field or a combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
  • Ability to perform analyses to understand the processes and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take


Potential Salary: $109,800.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
