About the role:
Provide technical product support for clients using FIS software products and ensure the quality and utilization of FIS software products satisfies client needs. This is a client-facing position that deals mainly with the US Insurance businesses and clients but will also be expanding into APAC.
Typical work hours are from 8:30 am EDT to 5:30 pm EDT with occasional overtime when needed.
About the team:
The EAS (Enterprise Accounting System), Investments and Statutory products are used by insurance companies to support their accounting, payment processing and regulatory reporting requirements. Our team is comprised of people with both technical and functional backgrounds.
What you will be doing:

  • Provides in-depth technical product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries.
  • Responds to customer product inquiries via our internet ticketing system or via telephone.
  • Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.
  • Troubleshoots problems with software applications and recommends corrective action
  • Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.
  • Recreates client issues in test environment, identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
  • Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily client-centric activities.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.


What you will need:

  • Prior experience working with technical product support.
  • Documents client information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product
  • Knowledge of FIS products and services
  • Knowledge in programming, business analysis or implementation of software products
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Knowledge of scripting language such as DOS or Powershell
  • Knowledge of VB
  • Organizational and time management skills required
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently
  • Extremely comfortable working with computers and a variety of applications
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Knowledge of accounting, payment processing, or investments is not required, but is helpful.
