WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

The mission of the Global Go to Market (GTM) Enablement team is to ensure Box's customer-facing roles have the knowledge and training they need to be successful.  That means ensuring our new hires (both internal and external) across the GTM organizations have a best in class onboarding experience, ongoing product knowledge and skill building programs, and the tools, process, and materials required to execute in their roles.  The Technical Enablement Manager role is critical in ensuring successful and consistent ongoing enablement for our technical, customer facing GTM, including Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Consultants, and Product Support agents. This role will provide enablement support after onboarding is completed, typically after the 90-day mark.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Drive the ongoing enablement strategy for our technical roles, ensuring a smooth transition from onboarding into ongoing enablement programs that build on the initial foundation

  • Establish the ongoing enablement needs of each organization supported. This will include identifying areas of overlap and efficiency across technical roles, and co-enabling where needed; and understanding where deeper knowledge and programming is needed for specific roles

  • Own any ongoing enablement programs for technical roles, including development, facilitation, content creation, metrics tracking, and tools needed to enable success. This will be a combination of live virtual sessions, as well as self-paced content in our LMS

  • Partner with subject matter experts across technical teams to create and deliver programs as needed

  • Partner with product and marketing to stay on top of product launches and develop the enablement is needed for technical roles

  • Build, develop, and maintain libraries of content to supplement growth and development for our GTM technical teams

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and leaders of our technical GTM teams, continually identifying opportunities for enablement and up-skilling and building consensus on top priorities

  • Work collaboratively with leaders to scope knowledge / skill gaps and build programs that deliver measurable results 

  • Support global GTM Enablement programs as needed, including annual kickoff, product and program launches, offsites

  • Communicate regular progress/status and learnings to key stakeholders in GTM Enablement & GTM Leadership


WHO YOU ARE

  • 3+ years of enablement or similar experience (eg. L&D, curriculum building, training, technical customer facing role) 

  • Ability to quickly become a technical subject matter expert on Box

  • Passion for working with new hires and helping them learn and grow

  • Deep experience within a SaaS organization and understanding of an enterprise customer lifecycle

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic organization

  • Experience developing and launching best in class training curriculum and enablement programs for a technical audience - both live and online formats

  • Highly motivated, self-starter, problem solving attitude, team player

  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills, both written and oral

  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work efficiently

  • Ability to work cross-functionally (up and across), and to proactively and confidently engage and influence stakeholders across the business

  • Strong program management skills, with demonstrated ability to own a project from ideation to execution
