The 6RS Technical Enablement Manager is the primary resource for managing, producing and delivering high-quality educational content on the functionality and use of 6RS solutions. This individual will work with departments across the company to ensure our internal and external product training content is accurate, up to date, and easy to understand.

Responsibilities

  • The Technical Product Trainer / Curriculum Developer will partner with product owners, marketing, enablement, and business leaders in the 6RS delivery organization to support the development and delivery of the customer, partner, and 3PL training strategies for 6RS products and solutions
  • In this capacity, the Technical Enablement Manager will:
    • Become a subject matter expert and evangelist for 6RS product(s) and services, and will be responsible for ensuring training participants can effectively use, administer, and configure 6RS products at the conclusion of the training
    • Define training needs through regular review with various client-facing and internal development teams
    • Own the content creation and delivery process from beginning to end, including:
      • Perform interviews with subject matter experts on training topics
      • Design content structure for multiple audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge and diverse role functions
      • Build content components, including scripts, templates, illustrations, and audio/video recordings
      • Compile components into usable educational content such as videos, presentations, checklists, and illustrated guides
    • Ensure appropriate distribution of content via electronic delivery systems and instructor-led media, such as delivery announcements through multiple 6 River channels, 3rd party and partner companies
    • Catalog all components and output using 6 River tools and methodology
    • Build and maintain relationships with external content production and training delivery resources such as individual contractors or design firms
    • Measure content success by defining and testing its outcomes against various goals and metrics
    • Build, maintain, and enforce exceptional educational content standards
    • Identify areas for improvement  in 6 River’s training systems and methodology; offer recommendations

Required Qualifications and Attributes

  • Minimum of ten years of instructional and curriculum design expertise in defining, designing, developing and delivering training for complex software and hardware solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated aptitude for speaking to both technical audiences and business/sales user audiences
  • Experience in managing both e-learning and instructor-led curricula and associated labs and certifications
  • Flexible, collaborative, team-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with building and maintaining role-based curricula and user hierarchies in LMS and CMS platforms, including platform governance and analytics/reporting design
  • Experience with e-learning content development software (Examples: Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Google Workspace, Articulate 360, etc.)
  • History of creating high-quality training content in multiple forms, for a wide spectrum of audiences
  • Experience managing production of content for multiple languages
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Flexible, collaborative, team-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience

Additional Experience 

  • Knowledge of the supply chain and/or warehousing industry
  • Voiceover experience and associated equipment
  • Ability to travel (10%)
  • Fluency in any of the following languages (as a second language)
    • French
    • German
    • Spanish
    • Polish
    • Dutch
    • Chinese (Mandarin)
