Tablet Deployment Specialists support the implementation and continuity of Medtronic's iPad-based applications within the Cardiac Rhythm Management business. The Deployment Specialist will provide customers with education and consultation services throughout the duration of the project. Customer consultation includes remote support as well as potential onsite support/training to ensure a successful implementation. After implementation the Deployment Specialist verifies that clients' needs have been met and the staff is fully trained. This position utilizes project management skills to manage multiple implementations at one time, ensuring everything is being performed according to a proven project plan.
This is a hybrid position with a majority of the week being remote and the remaining on site at the Sullivan Lake site. Must be able to travel 25% (The US and Canada)
A Day in the Life
- Work with Medtronic's Customer Contracting team to ensure all required documents are in place
- Consult with Customer IT resources to gain approval for use of Medtronic applications
- Determine Customer Tablet and Tablet accessory needs
- Consult with clinical resources to establish new tablet-based workflow
- Ensure tracking of Medtronic-provided assets
- Drive adherence to app and iOS updates through strategic customer communication
- Occasionally provide on-site support for any of the above tasks either at the Customer site or during Medtronic-sponsored regional field training events
Must Have: Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
OR
- Advanced Degree with 0 years of experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience with hospital system implementations
- Experience in cardiac rhythm device management (e.g. pacemakers, defibrillators, or electronic medical records field)
- Experience in managed care or healthcare industry
- Understanding of HIPAA related policies and adherence to compliance standards during implementation
- Highly organized with demonstrated project management or project coordination experience
- Familiarity with the following technologies, including but not limited to:
- Apple iOS and tablets
- Android OS and tablets
- Basic networking
- Microsoft Office
