At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Systems Operations Specialist directly supporting the customer, you will be trusted to provide both critical technical support in addressing IT related issues for Windows environment, laptops and standalone systems. In this role a typical day will include:

• Working as part of a motivated, high-performing team
• Resolving critical systems/network issues that negatively impact the customer's mission
• Patching and updating laptop operating systems; building and reimaging laptops
• Provide intermediate level support troubleshooting Windows issues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Technical Skills Required: Experience Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft System Center, Windows Server. Please note: Provide desk side support, Create accounts and DTO services
• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with asset management tracking and accountability.
