Job Description
Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.
To that end, our Company has initiated the Integrated Product Information (IPI) for Change Control program in support of our Manufacturing division. The proposed transformation approach will demonstrate value incrementally by deploying End-to-End Change Control Processes, Specification Management, Product Structure Management, and integration to Regulatory Intelligence. This will involve the implementation of SAP's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution.
We seek an energetic professional to join our IPI PLM IT team to help us deliver the IPI for Change Control solution, in partnership with our Company's Manufacturing organization.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of IPI's strategy, goals and processes with primary focus on PPM through participation in workshops and other activities involving Manufacturing leaders.
  • Work in partnership with our Manufacturing and IT functional leaders to identify business solution needs, assess the SAP PPM software capabilities, determine gaps and options to close the gaps, and establish the plans to advance the proposed IPI solution.
  • Consult with the configuration, development and testing of the IPI solution.
  • Develop conceptual mock-ups or configuration prototyping of PPM potential solutions based on business needs.
  • Propose technical solutions targeted at meeting business requirements.
  • Consult with the delivery technical IPI- PPM team through all aspects of the project Software Development Lifecycle (waterfall or agile), including design and implementation.
  • Provide guidance to a team of technical analysts during the design and development phases, work with the IPI Delivery team to propose high level development estimates for requested enhancements.


You will work and learn more about:

  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing and products.
  • Supply Chain and Product Lifecycles.
  • Manufacturing IT Solutions.


Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in technical analysis, design and application development.
  • Experience in creating and reviewing SDLC documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills balanced with a creative mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with both a business and a technical audience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with and through others to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated experience SAP PPM solutions.


Preferred Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Change Management business processes, design principles, and best practices specifically Specification Management or EHS, Recipe Development, PPM.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in SAP PLM and PPM.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Agile/scrum experience.


Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in computer science or Engineering.
