Our long-term care pharmacy is looking to add only exceptional people to our team.

What will you do every day in the Systems Admin role?

  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
  • Assist with desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and system performance

Minimum requirements will include:

  • Associates or Bachelor s degree in Technology or Computer Science
  • 2-3 years of network administration, or systems administration experience
  • Certifications and continuing education preferred
  • Experience in Meraki and Nutanix systems
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operation best practices
  • Expert knowledge of security storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  • Knowledge of Active Directory/Group Policy management and deployment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills required
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

You must be reliable and have a solid work history to be seriously considered for the position. A completed pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted.

Position hours: Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8am - 5pm.
