Primary Job Purpose

You love technology, automation, and making everything better, especially in the Citrix world! You use your technical knowledge and collaboration skills to solve, administer, design, improve, collaborate, and automate so that you can bring greater capabilities and consistency to the platforms the team supports.

General Functions and Outcomes
  • Ensure the stability and sustainability of the platforms we support with emphasis on our Citrix platform
  • Identify areas for automation and drive to implement those efforts.
  • Solve highly complex technical issues, both independently as well as with collaboration with colleagues and vendors.
  • Lead projects to timely, thorough, and well-documented completion.
  • Research industry trends and future-state technologies and use that knowledge to future-proof our infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise in designing, building, and administering Cambia's Citrix environment (DaaS, Virtual Apps and Desktops, Application Delivery Controller, and ADM).
  • Serve as a vital professional in core technologies and methodologies used by the team. Specifically: Citrix, Office 365, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, GIT, Jira, Active Directory, AzureAD, and Group Policy.
  • Build custom scripts in multiple languages and platforms including PowerShell, VBScript, and command line.

Minimum Requirements

You'll want to bring a degree along with 3+ years' experience supporting Citrix components, or more experience in lieu of a degree. A firm grasp of general 'enterprise' technologies like Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, proxies, and firewalls is a must too. If you've got Citrix certs, great! Windows and MDM experience? Even better. At Cambia, our love of automation is deep, so familiarity with DevOps practices and concepts will make you a good fit as well.

Work Environment

Duties are performed primarily in a remote work environment, though occasional travel for meetings or conferences may be necessary. Occasional on-call and off-hours work happens too.
