As a 2022 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.
This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June and September with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will;

  • Learn how to work within a corporate environment
  • Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organization
  • Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
  • Build a network of your peers from across the organization


This position is for a January 24, 2022 start.
About The Team
GIO is a cross functional organization supporting technical infrastructure internationally, including Storage, Database, Compute (Servers and Virtual Infrastructure), Cloud, Mainframe, and Automation. We are responsible for supporting our technical infrastructure solutions, and for the implementation of appropriate practices and processes to identify, track and remediate changes, incidents and problems impacting FIS Systems. We are looking for ways to transform the organization to better meet the needs of our business groups by increasing stability, security, and speed of delivery of services. We achieve this through a collaborative approach, both internally and with our business partners - by doing the right thing at all times and winning as one team.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working with stakeholders from various Internal FIS technical teams to gather and analyze statistics in support of their business and technical needs. You will gather data and translate that to recommendations and specifications that can be implemented by the technical teams. You will utilize systems and data to suggest process improvements to resolve business and technical issues in the most effective and productive manner, and coordinate with team members on the implementation of those solutions using Agile methodology.

  • Perform analysis of the technical goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment for appropriate FIS segment, division, group, or line of business
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system specifications for customer-service driven solutions
  • Perform research and analysis to support technical operations and present findings to manager or project leader
  • Plan and design Agile processes, and make recommendations to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency
  • Work directly with teammates to gather technical requirements and align on resulting specifications
  • Identify and implement best practices and assess the effects of the changes applied
  • Calculate/estimate costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/return on investment
  • Prepare reports and develop online dashboards for different levels of the technology team to include management, and executives
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
  • May require occasional availability outside of normal business hours.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree from job discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
