Belay Technologies is seeking a System Network Administrator (SNA). This position is for the PARKRANGER (PR) Support team, providing support to users of the PARKRANGER application to users locally and in the field. The SNA requires a solid foundation in Linux administration and comfort with the command line; good communication and troubleshooting skills; scripting experience - being able to read and modify existing scripts; creating new scrips would be ideal. There will also be some driver development work which relies extensively on XML. As the new version of PR progresses on the development side, there will also be a need/opportunity to do some user testing of the product.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Ten (10) years' experience as a System Administration in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• (Five (5) additional years of SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.)
• CWIP:
  • Must have completed and remain current on all Cyberspace Workforce Improvement Program (CWIP) certification requirements.
  • Level I required at start.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Solid Linux administration experience, including familiar with command line, troubleshooting, etc.
• XML scripting
• Good written/verbal communication and customer service experience - this position fields requests for support from a variety of external stakeholders on a daily basis, and requires clear, concise communication via email, ticketing, chat and/or phone

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Familiar with Oracle DB
