About the job
Red Hat's Website System team is looking for a System Delivery Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC, or remotely in the U.S. In this role, you will coordinate and lead website system platform initiatives, feature development, and shared services for multiple web properties that make up the core digital experiences for our corporate domain. You'll work across many teams, particularly backend web development teams, to ensure that roadmaps are implemented on-schedule and help communicate between the teams and coordinate joint planning sessions. You will facilitate resource planning and budget tracking and help measure user value delivered from digital investments. As a System Delivery Manager, you will serve as a coach, a communicator, an expectation manager, a facilitator, and a diplomat. You will work to uphold the Red Hat culture across the team of teams that you will work with. You will work among some of the most talented developers and designers who share your attention to detail and interest in solving unique business problems. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Coordinate across multiple programs, define milestones and success criteria, and understand resource allocations for planning and to ensure that delivery can meet expectations
  • Deliver platform capabilities aligned with strategic roadmaps for Red Hat's content management systems, including Drupal
  • Track implementation of content management system (CMS) features, platform capabilities, analytics infrastructure, and marketing technology integrations across multiple domains and subdomains
  • Help align joint roadmaps for Red Hat's core web properties
  • Establish digital shared services to be consumed by multiple digital properties and applications
  • Partner with technical teams to build tools and processes to optimize productivity and team trust within the Red Hat culture
  • Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, on-time delivery of commitments and effective communication with our stakeholders and management
  • Ensure that technical documentation is accessible for services and features that are delivered and facilitate the linking of the documents from a centralized location
  • Serve as an influential member of a large and complex team composed of both technical and non-technical members and help translate between them


What you will bring

  • 5+ years of experience serving in technical roles, including web development or application development
  • 3+ years of experience operating in a complex, agile or hybrid delivery environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing spend for services under your purview
  • Customer service mindset, including continuous improvement and the ability to deliver multiple priority projects with high customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience implementing integration design patterns, especially in a microservices or event-driven architecture
  • Ability to understand, discuss, and manage deep technical issues to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to customers, partners, and other stakeholders
  • Business insight and skills to engage leaders on business terms and deliver solutions typical of market leading an enterprise software company
