Belay Technologies is seeking a System Administrator (SA), who will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The SA will be tasked to manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. The SA shall provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the clients, servers, storages, network devices, mobile devices, etc. The SA shall be providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. The SA will also be tasked to provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. The SA will provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. The SA will configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Must have ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• A five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• TS/SCI with polygraph.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Experience with Designing.
• Experience with Implementing.
• Experience with Maintaining.
• Troubleshooting TCP/IP networks.
• Experience in network/system Administration.
• Experience with designing and implementing network solutions to support server requirements for High Availability that include the following: Load-balancing, Data replication, Failover, Clustering, RAID, etc.
• Maintaining variety on protocols to include but not limited to: DNS, Syslogs, LDAP, RADIUS, AAA.
• Experience with creating and installing PKI certs on servers and various hardware devices.
• Experience with VMware.
• Thorough knowledge of Cisco Nexus switches.
• Thorough knowledge of NetApp Appliances.
• Thorough knowledge FireEye appliances.
• Thorough knowledge Avocent KVM/Console Servers.
• Thorough knowledge networking and TCP/IP behavior.
• Thorough knowledge of security principles and hardening servers and network devices.
• Expertise in troubleshooting issues from physical to presentation layer.
• Efficient in writing operating procedures and documentation.
• Proficient in Linux operating systems.

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with VMWare.
• Experience with REST api.
