About the Team:
Career professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. Develops large and/or complex solutions that require analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert. Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Coaches and mentors junior technical staff. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires five or more years of demonstrated experience.
Provide leadership, expertise, and support in the implementation and installation of products within the WRA environment. Support project team members and clients during both new implementations and upgrades of existing applications. Serve as SME for WRA products and FIS processes and controls during implementation.
What you will be doing:

  • Support project teams comprised of internal and external personnel in new installations, upgrades, and migrations of software.
  • Directs implementation efforts to ensure adherence to FIS standards and requirements.
  • Coordinates with other FIS groups for process changes and updates for requests impacting WRA projects
  • Establishes implementation guidelines and requirements for new product versions and client customizations
  • Mentor and train team members on best practices for implementation.
  • Monitors implementations keeping in-line with broader departmental and business unit initiatives.
  • Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products.
  • Controls user access and passwords.
  • Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system.
  • Monitors usage and performance.
  • Trains personnel on system usage.
  • Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.
  • Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs.
  • Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
  • Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment.
  • Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.


What you bring:

  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware
  • Knowledge of storage management, TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools and technical writing principles and practices
  • Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public


Added Bonus if you have:

  • Oracle Database technologies, including RAC, DataGuard, and ODA devices
  • Microsoft SQL Server through SQL Server 201
  • Experience with Active Directory, Active Roles, F5 devices, load balancing and general authentication best practices
  • Ability to automate manual tasks related to implementations, upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
  • Scripting Knowledge (Batch/PowerShell/VBScript/Perl)
